Pourquoi ce blog? Why this blog?

Quoi? Un autre blog sur les cheveux bouclés? Pourquoi faire? Il y en a déjà tellement! Alors pourquoi ce blog?

Pour 2 raisons: tout d'abord parce que les cheveux ondulés, bouclés, crépus sont (avouons-le) INCOMPRIS (et souvent, à cause de ça, maltraités). Non seulement par ceux qui n'ont pas les cheveux de ce type mais aussi par ceux qui sont nés avec des cheveux bouclés (vous conviendrez avec moi que c'est quand même triste, non?). Beaucoup de filles qui ont les cheveux bouclés ou crépus utilisent des produits ou méthodes qui sont faites pour des cheveux lisses. Du coup, c'est un peu comme si on utilisait des produits pour peau grasse sur une peau sèche: je vous laisse imaginer le résultat. Donc apprenons à mieux les comprendre, ces cheveux! Aimons-les et donnons-leur des soins qui leur sont adaptés.

L'autre raison c'est qu'il y a justement tellement de blogs sur le thème qu'au final difficile de s'y retrouver et parfois, ça peut donner l'impression que les cheveux bouclés sont difficiles à entretenir alors que ce n'est pas le cas. Donc un des mots d'ordre de ce blog va être: KIS, keep it simple, autrement dit "fais au + simple". Ce sont des cheveux, je ne pense pas que les cheveux devraient être quelque chose de compliqué ni un sujet de prise de tête. J'espère qu'après avoir lu certaines entrées de ce blog et avoir testé vous-même certaines méthodes, vos cheveux ne le seront plus!

What? Another blog about curly hair? What for? There are so many already! So why this blog, you may ask?

2 reasons: first of all because wavy, curly, kinky hair is, let's face it, MISUNDERSTOOD (and very often, because of that, mistreated). Not only by people who do not have that kind of hair but also by people who were born with this type of hair (sad, isn't it?). Many curly-haired or kinky-haired girls use methods or products that were designed for straight hair. So it's kind of like having dry skin and using products for oily skin: I'll let you imagine the result! So let's learn and understand this hair better! Let's love them and give them care that is suited to their needs.

The other reason is that there are so many blogs about this topic that at the end of the day, it is kind of hard for girls to find their way around and this can sometimes give the (false) impression that curly hair is hard to manage. So one of the mottos of this blog will be: KIS, keep it simple. It is hair, I don't think hair should be complicated or a hassle. Hopefully after having read some of the entries of this blog and tried out some of the methods yourself, your hair will not be anymore!
